JAKKS Pacific Grabs Powderpuff Girls License

Powerpuff GirlsJAKKS Pacific announced it has secured a multi-category licensing agreement with Cartoon Network Enterprises, the licensing and merchandising arm of the television network, for The Powerpuff Girls, the Emmy Award-winning franchise. Disguise, Inc., the Halloween costume division of JAKKS Pacific, will produce Halloween costumes and accessories based on the iconic animated series. The new agreement also grants JAKKS Pacific rights to manufacture and distribute everyday dress-up and accessories to all channels in North America.

The all-new animated television series for The Powerpuff Girls follows the lives of Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup, three girls who juggle school and saving the world before bedtime, and is slated to launch on Cartoon Network in 2016. The Powerpuff Girls costumes from Disguise, as well as dress-up items and accessories from JAKKS Pacific are scheduled to be available at retailers nationwide in 2016.
