The Lion King took in $75.5 million in its sophomore outing in North America for a domestic tally of $350 million and a global cume of $962.7 million, including a weekend haul overseas of $142.8 million. Disney has now reached $7.67 billion in 2019 global ticket sales, eclipsing the industry record it set in 2016 with $7.61 billion. That includes $5.09 billion in foreign revenue.
