Leo Howard Cast as Young Conan

12 year-old Leo Howard joins the cast of the upcoming Lionsgate film Conan, to be directed by Marcus Nispel. Howard will be playing the role of young Conan, which Jason Momoa will play as an adult.

According to Latino Review, his role will be a “pretty meaty part and the audience’s first introduction to Conan for the first 15 minutes or so.”

Howard had the role of the young version of Snake Eyes in last summer’s G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra as well as a role in Robert Rodriguez’s Shorts.

Conan is currently in pre-production and is scheduled to start filming sometime in Bulgaria next month. Stay tuned here for more casting news as it trickles in.
