The idiots at Jackass took the weekend box office, due mainly to inflated ticket prices for 3D movies. The film took in $50 million, more than doubling the production cost of $19 million. “Red” starring Morgan Freeman and Helen Mirren took the second place spot, pulling in $22.5 million without the benefit of 3D.
