Relativity Media won its biggest take yet as the 3D action-epic “Immortals” topped the box office with a $32 million opening, while grossing another $36 million overseas for an estimated worldwide bow of $68 million. It topped Adam Sandler’s family comedy “Jack and Jill” which brought in $26 million, while holdover Puss in Boots folllowed closely with $25.5 million. The weekend’s other big opener. Clint Eastwood’s “J. Edgar”, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, got off to a solid start, grossing $11.5 million, in line with Eastwood’s other openings.
