“Hero Holders” Invade Retail Shelves

Hero HolderStatus Media, the new digital creative company formed by longtime entertainment and media executives Alan Laifer and Gareb Shamus, unveiled their most ambitious consumer product to date, the “Hero Holder,” a mobile device holder featuring the world’s most popular Super Heroes. The first “Hero Holder” to hit the consumer marketplace will be a limited edition Marvel Spider-Man™, available now for presale in advance of the premiere of “The Amazing Spider-Man 2,” which will be in theaters May 2. There will also be available a super-limited 1-in-100 variant of Spider-Man™ in his black costume.

“I have been a collector and fan of comic books, toys, games, film, TV and all things pop-culture, and like everyone else, I needed something to hold my phone and tablet while I view pictures, see videos, or charge my devices. So we invented Hero Holder! Who doesn’t want a Super Hero holding their mobile devices?” said Shamus, Status Media’s Chief Creative Officer. “Out of this vision, and over two years of development later, we’re finally able to bring Hero Holder to fans everywhere, and make our dream a reality.”

The patent pending “Hero Holder” comes with two sets of bendable arms that can hold any size mobile device or tablet (vertically or horizontally), including iPhones, Android mobile phones, full sized or mini-iPads, Kindles, or any tablets made for kids or adults. Chargers can easily plug in while your device is in the Hero Holder. The Hero Holder line will be produced with Wicked Cool Toys and have the full creative support of the licensors for a wide array of Super Heroes, including Marvel, DC, and WWE, with more on the way.
