Marvel’s Avengers Infinity War conquered the box office with a record breaking $250 million opening weekend. The film, which was the culmination of ten years of Marvel movies, became the biggest domestic opening of all time beating Star Wars: The Force Awakens. It also broke records overseas becoming the biggest worldwide opening of all time with a global take of $630 million. It also broke other records becoming the biggest superhero movie of all time, the biggest Saturday box office, the biggest Sunday box office, and other records across the world. The film marked the end of Phase III of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
