Vandor Adds Marvel Super Heroes and Bruce Lee License

Vandor has acquired licenses for three of the most enduring pop icons of all time.  Beginning this summer, Marvel’s Super Heroes, Bruce Lee and Jimi Hendrix will be featured on many of Vandor’s high quality, functional products.

The new licenses will adorn drinkware ranging from ceramic mugs to stainless steel water bottles. Their likenesses will appear on fun-shaped tin totes, boxes, and signs, and on a variety of stationery items ranging from dual image lenticular notebooks to card sets and sticky notes.  The legendary pop icons will also be featured on the top selling eco-friendly shopper totes that Vandor introduced last year.

With the addition of Marvel’s Super Heroes, Vandor now has licenses for virtually every comic character that exists.  Super Heroes, including Spiderman, Thor, Iron Man and Captain America, appeal to multiple generations — they are relatable, inspirational, iconic and cool.

As a real-life champion, Bruce Lee has worldwide multi-generational appeal as a hero to millions.  The martial arts action hero, who appeared in more than 30 films and TV shows, was named by Peoplemagazine as one of its top 200 pop culture icons. Another major legend, Jimi Hendrix, is one of the most influential musicians of all time.  He joins Vandor’s A-list of legendary musicians which includes The Beatles, Elvis, The Rolling Stones, and more.

“We’ve been leveraging our reputation as a licensing expert to attract some of the most coveted properties,” said Stacey Dobkins, Vandor’s Vice President, Licensing & Marketing.  “We’ll continue to anticipate consumer interests as we add to our already comprehensive portfolio of high quality licensed products that have strong appeal and sell-through,” Dobkins added.
