‘Black Panther’ Film Back In Marvel’s Movie Pipeline

Marvel Studios hired screenwriter Mark Bailey, best known for his documentary work, to create a script  about the Black Panther, king of the African country Wakanda who becomes a super hero.

Marvel’s Kevin Feige is producing the movie based on the first mainstream black super hero. The Black Panther has attempted to jump to the big screen before, most notably when Wesley Snipes was attached to the character in the 1990s.
