Vandor Introduces 55 New Licensed Products

VandorVandor is introducing 55 new products as part of its 2010 “Where Legends Live” catalog. High quality products for everyday use include stainless steel water bottles, travel mugs and fun-shaped tin totes. In the stationary category, Vandor is offering sticky notes in novel designs, featuring some of the company’s popular licensed characters.

The summer launch also includes a smaller sized version of the eco-friendly tote bag which was well received by retailers and consumers alike when it was introduced earlier this year. New luggage tags showcase a myriad of pop culture legends and humorous new tin retro signs feature witty sayings.

Vandor’s summer product launch is the latest activity in an aggressive marketing drive by the company. During the first half of the year, Vandor introduced 91 new products in a revamped “Where Legends Live” catalog, redesigned its website and secured rights to market products for the Star Wars trilogy. The company also developed a dual-licensed line of Betty Boop-Coca Cola products and introduced its first eco-friendly products.

“We’re committed to differentiating ourselves by providing the best customer experience,” said Tom Russo, Vandor’s new CEO. “We’ll drive sales with high quality licensed products that appeal to multiple generations while making it easy for our retail customers to do business with us,” Russo explained.

Vandor is consistently focused on anticipating trends and occasions that enhance product sell through. Several of its top licenses enjoy milestones this year including the 30th anniversary of Star Wars’ The Empire Strikes Back, the 75th anniversary of Superman, Wonder Woman and Batman, and Elvis Presley’s 75th birthday.

All of Vandor’s new products will be on display at major gift markets and industry shows throughout the year.
