‘Thor’ Unleashes A Thunderstorm at Box Office

Marvel’s ‘Thor’ blew away the box office, doubling the receipts of its nearest competitor, ‘Fast Five.’ ‘Thor’ launched a new franchise, bringing in $66 million. ‘Fast Five’ held onto second place in its sophomore weekend, with a weekend take of $32.5 million.
