The Green Hornet Meets The Shadow

Green Hornet and The ShafowThe Shadow and The Green Hornet team-up, courtesy of legendary comic book writer/movie producer Michael Uslan, the originator and Executive Producer of the Batman movie franchise, including The Dark Knight trilogy.  With covers by Alex Ross and John Cassaday, and interior art by Keith Burns, The Shadow/Green Hornet: Dark Nights #1 is sure to be an exciting read for comic fans everywhere!

In The Shadow/Green Hornet: Dark Nights #1, a threat so titanic that it forces The Shadow to team-up with The Green Hornet!  A plot so deadly that it involves real events in history and such famous and infamous people as Woodrow Wilson, Rasputin, J. Edgar Hoover, Franklin D. Roosevelt, and Nikola Tesla!  An unstoppable power will plunge the world into darkness… and no one but our two crime-fighting icons can stop it!

“In The Shadow/Green Hornet: Dark Nights, a terror plot unfolds during World War I but doesn’t strike until the world is on the eve of World War II,” says writer Michael Uslan. “In a time of grave crisis, Lamont Cranston and Britt Reid are brought together by FDR, himself, but NOT for the reason one would EVER imagine! Is it possible that The GIRASOL of The Shadow… like The Cosmic Cube in the Marvel Universe… holds within the ultimate power on earth? If so, will anything stop Hitler and the mighty Shiwan Khan from seizing it at all costs? Only The Shadow and The Green Hornet joining forces have a chance in Hell of stopping them and saving mankind from a fate worse than death!”

“I have wanted to work with Michael for some-time and it is an honor to be doing so with such a dynamic crossover,” adds Dynamite CEO / Publisher Nick Barrucci.  “Following Masks, we needed a great new story for a pulp-crossover, and I have no doubt that it is going to exceed everybody’s already high expectations.”

Michael Uslan is the Originator and Executive Producer of the BATMAN movie franchise from BATMAN to THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, and the author of his memoir, THE BOY WHO LOVED BATMAN. He won the Emmy Award for bringing “Where Is Carmen Sandiego?” to children’s television.
