Nicholas Hoult, star of the BBC series Skins, will be playing Nux in the 4th Mad Max film Fury Road. Although little is known about his character, it has been revealed that his name is Nux.
Hoult will star alongside Tom Hardy (Star Trek: Nemesis) who will be taking over the role of Mad Max and Charlize Theron.
George Miller has taken on the mantle as both writer and director of the project. Details of the film’s story are still being kept very quiet, but we do know that it is set shortly after the events in the last Mad Max film, Beyond Thunderdome.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Zoe Kravitz (The Brave One), Teresa Palmer (The Grudge 2) and Adelaide Clemens (X-Men Origins: Wolverine) are also close to signing on to the film. Although the nature of Hoult’s character is unknown, the roles that Kravitz, Palmer and Clemens might play a part of a convoy who are being chased by villains.
The film is set to start shooting this summer in Australia.
