LEGO Systems Introduces The LEGO Batman Movie Collection

LEGO BatmanOffering moviegoers the opportunity to recreate the action and excitement of Gotham City, LEGO Systems offers a world of play opportunities with new building sets, collectibles and lifestyle merchandise inspired by The LEGO Batman Movie, featuring Batman, Robin, Batgirl, and other characters from the franchise. Directed by Chris McKay and starring Will Arnett, Zach Galifianakis, Michael Cera, Rosario Dawson and Ralph Fiennes, the film comes from Warner Bros. Pictures, Warner Animation Group, LEGO System A/S and DC Entertainment. The film opened nationwide February 10 in 2D, 3D, and IMAX.

Building Sets

Thirteen construction sets, ranging in price from $12.99 to $149.99, are available now, including: The Joker Balloon Escape ($14.99), Catwoman Catcycle Chase ($19.99), Mr. Freeze Ice Attack ($19.99), Scarecrow Special Delivery ($19.99), The Penguin Acrtic Roller ($29.99), The Riddler Riddle Racer ($29.99), Clayface Splat Attack ($34.99), The Joker Notorious Lowrider ($49.99), The Batmobile ($59.99), Killer Croc Tail-Gator ($69.99), The Scuttler ($79.99), Batcave Break-In ($99.99), and Arkham Asylum ($149.99). A series of 20 collectible LEGO Minifigures are available now for $3.49 each.

Five additional sets inspired by the film will be released in June 2017, including: Scarecrow Fearful Face-off ($14.99), Bane Toxic Truck Attack ($49.99), Two-Face Double Demolition ($59.99), The Batwing ($89.99), The Ultimate Batmobile ($129.99).

LEGO BrickHeadz

Available beginning in March, LEGO BrickHeadz offer a whole new way to collect and build stylized versions of iconic characters from the film, reimagined in colorful brick form, including: Batman, Batgirl, Robin and The Joker ($9.99 each).

Digital Gaming

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment brings the film to life in LEGO Dimensions with Excalibur™ Batman Fun Pack ($14.99) and The LEGO Batman Movie Story Pack ($44.99).

Movie-Inspired Merchandise

Collaboration with select licensees bring the film to life with a wide variety of merchandise in lifestyle categories. Publishing partners Scholastic and DK Publishing will offer an assortment of readers, sticker books, activity books and movie guides. Costumes and clothing partners include Bioworld, Disguise, Evy, Fast Forward, Franco, Handcraft, Isaac Morris, and SGI Apparel. Phone and tablet accessories are produced by Sakar. Paper goods such as greeting cards, wrapping paper, gift bags, calendars, posters, stickers, and party favors will be made available by Hallmark, Trends International and Amscan. IQ/Santoki will create an assortment of school items like book markers, composition books, luggage tags, key lights, journals and head lamps. Storage partner ROOM Copenhagen is producing lunchboxes, drinking bottle, thermos cup, sorting box, storage box, and a minifigure display case. Alarm clocks and watches will be produced by Clic Time.

The Feature Film

In the irreverent spirit of fun that made The LEGO Movie a worldwide phenomenon, the self-described leading man of that ensemble – LEGO Batman – stars in his own big-screen adventure. But there are big changes brewing in Gotham City, and if he wants to save the city from The Joker’s™ hostile takeover, Batman™ may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up.
